Studio Community 4 months agoIntroducing the New Tutorials & Packs Experience
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share something I’ve been working on for the past several months.
When I first launched the Academy back in October 2025, I was still very new to web development. At the time, the Real-Time Tutorials and Reference Packs system was the best I could build. It worked, but it was far from perfect. Tutorials lived on… Read more

Dear Ali,
I’ve just spent some time exploring the new Tutorials and Reference Packs experience, and I wanted to say congratulations on what you’ve built.
This is a huge step forward in terms of discoverability and usability. The new interface feels clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Finding specific tutorials is now much faster and more… Read more

Studio Community 4 months agoGraphite library drawings.
@alihaiderrehman told me earlier on that this intermediate drawing wasn’t that difficult, even for a beginner so I gived it a shot. I already did the pencil sketch and will from there on build following Ali’s tutorial. A challenge for a novice drawing artist. We will see how it turns out and I will post the end result. I already did a… Read more

Take it in stages, and slowly, do most of your work with a brush, easy to erase and get the correct tonal values. Blending is the key to get rid of the harsh lines, but it takes practice, the more you do, the more you see. Write down what you do. For me, stage 1 outline (With as much info as possible), stage 2 brush work on the complete…

I am new to drawing as well. But what Ronald has good sound advice! The blending will take out the hard outlines and make things look smoother. I need to practice this myself. Good start to the eye drawing.

Frederic, this is a great challenge to take on! 😊
Your outline is looking clean. The key here is to focus on one section at a time and not rush the darker values.
I look forward to seeing your progress and the final result. Keep sharing your updates, and the community will be happy to help along the way.1

Studio Community 5 months agoI’m spending too much time on this, so I’m going to call it done and move onto another project.
@SEDITH Think I’m going to do the horse that you did previously

Hi, Ronald, what a difference from the first stage! The adjustments you made have really paid off. The eye looks much more balanced now, and the overall drawing feels richer and more refined. The eyelashes look more natural, and the textures around the eye are much more convincing. It’s always impressive to see how a drawing evolves…

Incredible drawing. The eyelashes and eyebrows are very crisp and clean. They stand out extremely well and makes it look so real. Great job on iris and reflection.

Studio Community 5 months agoVenus in the darkness
Graphite study inspired by the famous Venus of Willendorf, now housed in the Naturhistorisches Museum Wien in Vienna. Dating back nearly 29,500 years, the small limestone figure remains one of the most iconic artworks of prehistoric humanity.
Surrounded by darkness, illuminated on all sides, and viewable from every angle, the figure appears…

Studio Community 5 months agoJust started drawing.
Hi there everybody , I’m only as far as two perspective point drawing in the graphic pencil course but from time to time I take a shot at the Graphic Pencil Library drawings for beginners or I draw something based on a photograph. This is what I did this time. So please feel free to comment or criticize for my own sake and further…
